tl dr: i watched my family members play it when i was a small child, n watched rtgame play fever last year, n got hyperfixated on it.Videogame releases comprised entirely of mini-games leave me struggling come review time, puzzling over some means to measure and weigh how the individual offerings form together into a cohesive experience. Probably didn't need all that detail but whatever. it has yet to end though it's not quite as strong as it was last year/earlier this year.
it was like 12 am- for the whole of the next week i was basically constantly listening to remix 10 with sound effects while doing school n stuff n so i ended up memorizing every game's timing from that. i think i vaguely remembered rhythm heaven so i watched the whole thing. also my uncle had megamix n he lived with us for a bit (he's close to my age n we also lived with my grandma) so i'd watch him play sometimes but anyways.įast forward to last year, i was scrolling on my youtube homepage n saw rtgame's playthrough of fever. Okay it's a long story for me- so my moms got fever when i was young n, with my crappy sense of rhythm, i played it a little but stopped (blamed it on hitboxes,) n just watched them play.
